AAC Goldrush is an ideal choice for growers in southern Saskatchewan.

Origin & Breeding History: AAC Goldrush was selected from a cross of ‘S98-11’ // ‘Crimson’/’CDC Falcon’┬áconducted in 2004 at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Lethbridge Research and Development Centre, Lethbridge, Alberta. Extensive selection and evaluation were performed based on winter survival, plant type, height, and straw strength, ensuring its superior performance. Multi-location agronomic trials were carried out, evaluating disease resistance, end-use quality, and more.

Field Trials: Comparative trials for AAC Goldrush were held during the 2016 and 2018 growing seasons at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Lethbridge Research and Development Centre, Lethbridge, Alberta.
